Ipswich City Soccer Club, "The Bulls", was formed in 1975 with five teams and 70 players, drawn from all parts of Ipswich City, although most of them came from Leichhardt, Brassall & surrounding areas.

The first committee meeting was held on 16th Feb 1975. The committee voted Noel McCool as President, Pam McCool as Secretary & John Hohnke as Treasurer. Mrs Jones was also voted President of the Ladies committee. Committee members voted were: Joe Korhecz, Roy Jones, Barry Roberts, Brian Hartwell & John Stains.

John Hohnke donated his BBQ to the club for use in the canteen on match days. Mr R McInaley advised that he will ask his nephew to draw up a constitution and the committee agreed that a membership fee of $1 would be adopted. Mrs Gwen Korhecz agreed to sew the numbers on the team T shirts and their own T shirts for the 1995 season.

The committee voted that ANZ would be the bank the club used and the official colours of the club would be black and white.

The intention of creating the club was to provide an avenue for people living in the north western side of Ipswich to compete in Football. The Club situated at Sutton Park, entered the Brisbane Junior Football Association competition for the first time in 1975. The first three years saw an increase in player numbers to two ladies teams, 15 junior and one colts (senior division) team and about 200 players.

On the 1st of February 1978, the Club was registered as a public company 'limited by guarantee, under the Companies Acts 1961 to 1975, and the Ipswich City Football Club All Sports Limited was created.

The club had many years of success both on and off the field but 1999 saw the beginning of a dream for many of the clubs members and supporters. Mark Waters joined the Board of Directors and with his push, the construction of a new clubhouse began. February 27^th 2000 saw the fence go up around the construction site, which marked the beginning of something that so many people have waited a long time for. The old building was condemned more than ten years before but due to lack of funds and support, the club was unable to undertake such a huge venture by itself. With the help of Walters Construction, the Ipswich City Council and funds raised by the club, we were able to start building a new clubhouse. The construction was managed by Walters Construction, who also injected a large amount of their own funds into the project. This amounted to a huge saving for the club. March 10th 2001 saw the official opening of our new clubhouse. The old clubhouse was gone forever.
