About
Football Queensland has three levels of competition for MiniRoos Kangaroo (Komodo), Wallaby (Goanna) and Quokka (Gecko).
Kangaroo (Under 9 – Under 12) is an advanced league in which Football Queensland ask clubs to select players of a higher ability to play against each other. Trials will be held, and players will be assessed at the trials on merit according to their current skills and abilities. This will be done by a selection panel appointed by the club. Once the trials have been concluded the Club will inform all players of whether they have been selected to join the Kangaroo team.
All other players will be placed into either Calves, Wallaby or Quokka. There is also a Development Program that is on offer for player that wish to join.
